Singers' Room presents United Sounds Of Soul

One of UK's finest voices, Gina Foster has appeared around the world with so many of the top names in music.

Gina is a permanent fixture in Swing Out Sister and with her own band project Joni's Soul (Half Moon 9/3/16) has been attracting offers and serious attention from promoters and festivals in both Europe and Canada/USA.

For this Singers' Room night Gina and her top-class band are reprising the great sounds of both US and British soul and challenging the audience to compare and contrast - with affection and maybe a little nostalgia - some of the best known songs of Sade (The Sweetest Taboo) with Diana Ross (Love Hangover), Herbie Hancock (I Thought it Was You) and Soul II Soul (Back to Life), Roachford (Cuddly Toy) and George Duke (Brazilian Love Affair) and many more gems from the golden age of chart-topping Transatlantic soul.
