Forman’s famous smokehouse premises will be opening its doors to the food-loving public this February for a complimentary Open Day to celebrate some of the finest British produce and artisan foods – all taking place in the comfort of its award-winning luxury venue ‘Forman’s Fish Island’, in East London’s trendy Hackney Wick.

This year's Open Day will offer the chance to try and buy food and drink galore from selected Forman & Field suppliers, such as Fudge Kitchen (sumptuous handmade fudge); G Desserts (unique gluten-free desserts); Artisan du Chocolat (with a tempting selection of treats); Hepburns and Mike Maloney Country showcasing fresh and cured meats; and Pugh’s Piglets with a range of suckling pigs and Italian-style porchetta, to name a few.

As well as a chance to sample H Forman & Son’s very own world famous London Cure smoked salmon, you can take a tour round the on site smokehouse to see how the famous delicacy has been made since 1905. What’s more, there will be live talks and demonstrations from some of the other food producers throughout the day.

You can also take advantage of special food offers/discounts, and order/take home goods on the day.

Forman’s riverside Restaurant and stylish bar will also be open, you can pop in for a spot of brunch/lunch, enjoy a drink (choose from Forman’s fine selection of English wines and spirits) or perhaps try one of the our speciality smoked salmon platters.

To top off the Forman's experience, you can also enjoy the latest art exhibition (currently on display at Forman’s Smokehouse Gallery), as well as check out the views from our fabulous roof terrace overlooking the Olympic stadium.
