The Unmatchables Wine tasting

In response to a challenge set down by the February tasting group: What about those foods that are supposed to be "Unmatchable" with wine? Can we find a match that suits our palate with salty, spicy, sweet or bitter foods? Or is there a red wine I might like with white meat? What wine can cut through a really powerful cheese?

£35 for a Welcome Drink plus 5 Wines and the chance to make the unmatchable, matchable. Firstly we will try mini tasters of food and flavour combinations. Later in the evening you can then come back to the one you like at the end of the evening. We will have at least one food from one of the stallholders at Maltby St Market. (Final combinations TBC)

The (not so) small print:

- NB Minimum of 10 and Maximum 25 people so that the groups are kept small, but not too small.

- Your order confirmation is your 'ticket', there is no need to print it, your name will be on the guest list.

- CANCELLATIONS: Up a week before the event (midnight Tuesday March 8th): 90% refund given, in the week leading up to the event, 50% refund only.

If the minimum number of people is not reached by the Sunday before the event a cancellation notification will be sent that evening. In the event of this scenario 100% refunds will be given to all and a priority place on the next tasting will be offered.
