James Cross and Des Truscott - Nothing is Certain but Expense (Scenes From An Urban Gothic).

Have you ever found yourself in a place far different from anything you know, where you don't quite understand the rules or know what to do or say?

Nothing is Certain but Expense is a surreal, physically engaging portrayal of such a bewildering time.

When James first arrives in The City he finds everything is too busy, too systematized, too expensive and a far cry from anything in his previous experience.

Will he sink or swim in a place where no one has any time for anyone else?

James Cross will be presenting the first six scenes from a longer solo piece depicting his journey to and arrival in The City.

Tango Surprise:
An improvisation based on a recent workshop at Conway Hall.
Devised by Luke Dixon, Jane Turner and Tyrone Landau.
