London venue, Middle Temple, is proud to host an exclusive gala evening with stellar actors Simon Russell Beale, Alex Jennings, Ben Miller, Oliver Chris & Friends. The glorious historic surroundings of Middle Temple Hall will become a playhouse for one night only where the superb cast will perform a reading of a new black comedy by Bruce McKay in aid of children’s charity Coram.

Guests will be welcomed with a Champagne reception, followed by the gala play reading about the lives of Henry Fielding, William Hogarth - Coram’s great benefactor, and the Foundlings Hospital. Once it’s curtains down; the audience are invited to join the all-star cast for a delicious supper in the Hall. The special event forms part of Coram’s (the oldest UK children’s charity) 275th anniversary celebrations of the first admission of a child to the Foundling Hospital in March 1741.

This new comedy by McKay, whose previous work has been performed by Oscar-winner Mark Rylance and Dominic West, spotlights Fielding and Hogarth’s fight against corruption and injustice in a climate not dissimilar to today. The cast is led by Simon Russell Beale, (King Lear, Collaborators, The Hollow Crown, Spooks), to be joined by Alex Jennings (The Lady in the Van, The Queen, Churchill’s Secret, Collaborators - NT, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, Silk), Ben Miller (Death in Paradise, Johnny English, Duck House, The Lady Killers), Oliver Chris (Bluestone 42, Charles III, Green Wing, One Man Two Governors) with more high profile actors to be confirmed.

Only 200 tickets are available for this fabulous evening.
