New Comedy Night Launches in London’s Crouch End.

Fresh from winning the Best Small Club award at the 2016 Midlands Comedy Awards, Funhouse Comedy Club, which already runs successful nights at various venues all over the country, is excited to announce the launch of their brand new comedy night at Earl Haig Hall, Crouch End.

Funhouse Comedy Clubs are renowned for having exceptionally friendly audiences & a brilliant atmosphere which have led to twice winning Best Midlands Comedy Club awards with leading comedy website Chortle. Previous acts to have played its clubs on their road to fame & fortune include Sarah Millican, Russell Kane, Jack Whitehall & Rhod Gilbert, who described the clubs as “among the best anywhere in the world.”

Headlining is presenter, broadcaster, writer, actor & comedian Ian Stone. An International comedian, including performing for the troops, he has made numerous TV and Radio appearances including ‘Mock The Week’.He wrote for ‘The Omid Djalili show’ on BBC1 and ‘Alistair McGowan’s Big Impression’ on BBC 1. Audiences can’t get enough of his edgy and challenging approach which is supported by a relaxed and excusatory manner.

Supporting is writer & comedian the cheeky & versatile John Robertson. He has a nationwide following amongst anime & science fiction fans aged 25 and under thanks to his touring appearances & YouTube hit single, “The Cosplay Song” & his ‘Dark Room’ live inter-active adventure game has been an internet hit. With his incredibly original observations on everyday life & his captivating storytelling, he cleverly balances surprise & expectation in his own unique way.

Also appearing will be the pleasant & daring Kelly Kingham. His distinctive & mischievous material, with a refreshingly dark side never fails to capture the audience & leave them howling with laughter & the amusing, Irish/Egyptian, genuine airhead Zahra Barri, with her rather self-deprecatory style.

Compere for the night is the quirky James Dowdeswell who has appeared on ‘Russell Howard’s Good News'.
