CHA CHA CHAR IN TRAFALGAR SQUARE AT THE TEADIRECT DECENT DANCE IN THE SQUARE!

Fairtrade tea brand Teadirect and the Royal Opera House have joined forces to throw the biggest open -air tea dance ever. Taking place in London’s Trafalgar Square on Wednesday 8th June 2005, between 1-3pm, this unique free event for one afternoon only will transform one of the world’s most famous landmarks into a giant dance floor.

The Teadirect Decent Dance in the Square is aimed at all dance lovers, whatever their age, dance style and level. Turn up on the day to cha cha cha, quickstep, tango and waltz as the Royal Opera House Dance Band plays catchy ballroom favourites live, or come along as a spectator to enjoy the sight of twirling dancers and party atmosphere.

A team of Teadirect Decent Dancers will offer free tuition to beginners so those unfamiliar with ballroom steps can join in the fun. Live footage of the Covent Garden Band and dancers will be projected onto giant screens set up in Trafalgar Square, so this is your chance to make it onto the big screen!

Put your dancing shoes on, invite your partner or even meet one on the dance floor… This is an event not to be missed.

Teadirect will offer cups of its delicious Fairtrade tea to dancers. A rosy chestnut brew with a warm comforting aroma, it is a truly decent tea. Teadirect always pays tea growers guaranteed fair prices above market rates. In return, they give Teadirect the pick of their crop, and you enjoy an excellent cup of tea.
