The Alfred Le Roy has teamed up with some of the best names in food and drink to bring you a series of fantastic tasting cruises.

Put down the wine for the afternoon as you’re led on a historical and informative beer and cheese pairing by Tom Williams, former Neal’s Yard Dairy affineur and resident beer geek at CRATE. While you experiment and delight in flavours, Tom will guide you through how to taste and the fascinating historical journey of both beer and cheese.

Once the tasting is complete, you can enjoy the rest of your cruise along the beautiful River Lea, with Tom on hand to answer any questions or continue the discussion as you wish. You’ll also have the opportunity to further enjoy any of the featured beers and cheeses, and the onboard bar will be open for the duration.

The Alfred Le Roy is a classic British wide beam canalboat, comfortably heated, with subtle lighting and comfy booth seating.and tables. There are windows throughout the entire cabin, so everyone gets a view.
