Creative Writing Workshop

Calling all budding writers! Delve into the Museum's treasures to inspire your passion for the written word.

Led by poet and novelist Claire Collison, this fun and immersive day is designed for 13 - 18 year olds who take their writing seriously; you'll be learning how to use objects to narrate, paintings to provoke, and spaces to inspire. With hands-on exercises that can be applied to your own writing projects, and opportunities to share your work throughout the session, you'll leave fired up and kitted out with tools to develop your ideas.

Poets and prose writers, beginners and those with more experience are all welcome. Places are strictly limited, so early booking essential. Bring your curiosity, imagination, and a packed lunch.
