OXBO Bankside’s Honey Brunch

Hilton London Bankside will be giving those with a sweet-tooth the chance to celebrate National Honey Week (Monday 23rd to Sunday 29th October 2017) by offering its very own honey-harvest inspired recipes for a limited-edition Honey Brunch on Saturday 28th October.

The hotel has tended to four beehives which are housed on the fourth-floor Meadow Garden for over a year; an initiative set up to reintegrate nature into the urban Bankside landscape. In this time, Hilton London Bankside has continued to care for its Bankside Bees and guests have been able to sample the delicious and floral-tasting honey in the OXBO Bankside restaurant which is harvested each September.

Take part in the National Honey Week celebrations, and pay tribute to the Bankside Bees, by coming along to the very special Honey Brunch. Expect everything from Honey basted ham hock mains to honeycomb mousse desserts – where you’re guaranteed to get that much-needed sweet fix!

Honey Brunch Menu

On the Cold Chefs table
• Marinated tiger prawns, caramelised honey, soy and sesame
• Salmon Gravad Lax, English mustard and honey emulsion
• Red cabbage, honey pickled onion, samphire and chilli salad

Hot Sharer Plates
• Honey basted ham hock, grain mustard potato, beans and parsley
• Tandoori marinated cod fillet, cashew biriyani, honey cucumber apple raita
• Roasted pumpkin, thyme honey, flash-fried vegetables, cashew nut butter

From the Pastry
• Honeycomb mousse, hazelnut chocolate praline
• Pear and Almond Bakewell, honey cream
