Jazz at Mycenae

Mycenae House - a former convent – is transformed for the evening into a fabulous jazz club with great acoustics and a stunning grand piano, with outstanding live music from the Jazznights Ensemble and special guests Ben Cummings, Ben Travers and singer/songwriter Ineza. Ben Cummings has a reputation for being one of Britain’s finest trumpet players and has worked with artists as diverse as Jacqui Dankworth, Madness, Bad Manners and the Pasadena Roof Orchestra. Ben Travers is a sensational guitarist whose influences are the worlds of classical, jazz, Latin, rock, blues and beyond. He, too, has worked with well-known artists including the singer Sade and legendary guitarist Hank Marvin. Ineza’s voice has a unique soulful sound, and with her original interpretation she breathes new life into old jazz standards –not to be missed!
