After a summer break filled with festivals, Global Beats Club are really excited to return to London in our newfound home at Juju’s Bar & Stage in the heart of Brick Lane.

Curated by Continental Drifts & Global Local (the powerhouses behind the music programming of Glastonbury Festival’s infamous Shangri-La area and many other pumping festival stages across the UK and beyond) Global Beats Club showcases the best beats with a global twist, ranging from Tropical Bass to Afro Disco via Reggae Remix, Balkan Beats, Latin Grooves, Sambass, Dancehall & loads more! To celebrate our return we will be hosting a full live band performance from the incredible Wara! We can’t wait to see you all again for London’s best Global fiesta!

Wara

We are so thrilled to welcome Wara to Global Beats Club. Their energy is infectious and they are the musical embodiment of Latin heat! They are guaranteed to have you jumping with their own unique blend of Latin Funk, all with a bass heavy Reggaeton and Hip-Hop twist! ????

Influenced by the fieriest of contemporary Havana grooves and mobilised by the dynamic sounds of London’s underground, this group of Pan-Latin musical pioneers have crafted a hard-hitting and contagious style.

Canny and astute, the blazing vocals of Juanita Euka (London Afrobeat Collective) and Fedzilla (Movimientos) bring a swagger heavy attitude to a rich mix of dembow, Afro-Latin folklore, hip-hop and reggae.

Led by producer and composer Eliane Correa, their 2013 debut album ‘Leave To Remain’ was greeted by a full house at the London Jazz Café and a 4-star review in The Guardian.

Now stronger than ever in their new 6-piece format, the band is preparing to record their highly anticipated second album ‘Mambo Libre’, an incendiary critique of racial and gender stereotypes where the bass hits as hard as the message.

From Latin to Afro via House, Hip-Hop, Drum’n’Bass and beyond, Count Bassy is never short of beats to make you move your feet! Shaking dancefloors from Glastonbury to Bestival and in clubs across London, his sets are all about good vibes and big tunes, with a healthy dose of bass of course.
