War Child’s new fundraising platform The Right to Dance (TRTD), announces the Yemen Emergency Fundraiser to take place on Sunday 5th December at East London venues Oval Space and Pickle Factory. Featuring artists such as Floating Points, Bradley Zero, Alexander Nut, Shy One and many more, the event will raise money for War Child’s vital work in Yemen - a country experiencing one of the most devastating and under-reported humanitarian crises of the 21st Century - as well as other conflict countries the charity operates in. Launched last week, The Right to Dance is a new music-led fundraising platform which rallies the underground music scene as a collective force for good.

Across the two venues and twelve hours in East London, The Right to Dance is teaming up with Gilles Peterson’s We Out Here Festival and Foundation FM, the women and LGTBQI+ led, London radio station. Together they will be celebrating the community spirit of the underground music scene by welcoming some of the best-loved names from across the UK club spectrum for extended b2b sets.

Headlining Oval Space, in partnership with We Out Here Festival, will be globe-trotting DJ-producer Floating Points who will be going b2b with 6 Figure Gang’s Jossy Mitsu. Rhythm Section label boss Bradley Zero also joins the bill, coupled with a special guest behind the decks, whilst DVA music empress Shy One goes b2b with Eglo Records main man Alexander Nut.

Foundation FM takes charge at Pickle Factory, presenting a billing that includes DJ duo and dance favourites RAW SILK, genre-merging selector Manara, Black Artist Database founder NIKS and Percolate resident Heléna Star, who will all be going b2b with special guests on the night. For full line up details see below.

Tickets available from RA with £10 concessions available exclusively to TRTD members: https://ra.co/events/1479294

This will be the first of many TRTD fundraising events where pre-sale access and discounted tickets will be provided exclusively for members. Membership is from as little as £3 a month donation, and will raise funds for War Child’s critical work assisting the safety and recovery of children affected by conflict.
