BioWales in London

Chambers Wales South East, South West and Mid has joined together with life science network MediWales to host an event as part of Wales Week London.

BioWales in London will take place from 12pm to 6pm on 9 March at Blake Morgan’s London offices and puts a spotlight on the dynamic Welsh life sciences sector. The free event will highlight exciting new innovations in a sector that has thrived in the last few years with significant developments in clinical innovation, diagnostics and medical technology.

BioWales in London will be one of the final events of Wales Week London, an annual showcase of activities and events in London which celebrates Wales. The wide-ranging programme, which is now in its fifth year, provides Welsh organisations with an opportunity to promote their services while establishing and developing new London-based audiences, partnerships and collaborations.

Following introductions from MediWales, Welsh Government and Blake Morgan LLP, leading figures from Welsh companies, including Chamber members Jellagen and Bond Digital Health, will discuss their achievements in the field and current projects.

Other items on the event’s agenda include:

- A panel discussion about investment rounds and support for companies on their investment journey.
- Presentations from the Welsh NHS on how to engage with clinicians, collaborate on clinical studies and evaluations, and support for regulatory compliance.
- A networking reception.
