Our first concert of 2022 features two virtuosic works which the Barnet Symphony Orchestra are incredibly excited to be presenting. Sibelius wrote only one concerto, for violin, and we're really pleased to have the talented Amarins Wierdsma as our soloist. We've paired this with Tchaikovsky's final symphony which provides plenty for the orchestra to play! It promises to be a fabulous evening of music and we hope to see you there. We will be observing appropriate COVID protocols and we do hope to be serving refreshments.

Sibelius: Violin Concerto in D minor Op. 47 (soloist: Amarins Wierdsma)
Tchaikovsky: Symphony no. 6 in B minor 'Pathetique' Op. 74
