Level Crossing Records are once again welcoming music fans to its store in London’s SW14, to be able to pick up limited edition vinyl at its Record Store Day Event on Saturday, 23rd April.

To celebrate the occasion, there will be a live acoustic performance from London-based English folk rock band Treetop Flyers, who won the Glastonbury Festival Emerging Talent Competition.

Doors will open at 8.00am when Record Store Day vinyl officially goes on sale. During the pandemic, digging through vinyl was nearly impossible for music fans, but Level Crossing Records is able to create a safe experience to search for the latest releases on vinyl and pick up exclusive Record Store Day releases.

Level Crossing Records has created a special honesty box to raise funds for Ukraine by selling some uncovered gems from its archives, including signed artworks of Slowthai, King Krule, Django Django, and special edition comic books from Metronomy. Alongside this, there will be a special one of a kind framed photograph of Nick Cave on stage that will be auctioned off, with proceeds going to Ukraine.

The store will be open until 5.00pm on the day and it's first come first served, so vinyl fans are advised to get to the store early to avoid disappointment, there’s guaranteed to be a queue outside before opening. Following the instore event, festivities will be moving to a special Record Store Day after party at Micro Beers in East Sheen, from 6.00pm until 11.00pm.
