The Blackheath and Greenwich Amnesty Book Sale returns for its 48th time. This is a regular event, much loved by the local community and buyers from further afield. The church will be filled with tens of thousands of high-quality books at low prices.

There will be a wide range of high-quality books at affordable prices. The books are sorted into categories which makes finding that special bargain easier. Books range from second-hand paperbacks to brand new fiction and non-fiction books direct from publishers.

These book sales are Amnesty International UK’s most successful local fundraising event, with over £300,000 raised since they started. There is always a queue of people waiting to get in when the doors open.

At the book sales there is also the opportunity to participate in the group's campaigns.
