"One of the very best amateur groups in the country" (Classical Music Magazine) comes to Cadogan Hall for a typically eclectic concert.
Kensington Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Russell Keable, will perform Bacewicz's blazing Overture for Orchestra, and Shostakovich's bittersweet Cello Concerto No.2 with virtuoso Joseph Spooner as soloist.
The programme concludes with Dvořák's beloved Symphony No.8 - "as fresh as youth itself".
