Wines of Germany – A walkabout tasting
If you think you know all about German wine, drink again!
This walkabout tasting of German wine has been organised in association with leading German wine importer The Winebarn and is designed to show off the best of German wine and dispel some myths.
There will be thirty wines to taste ranging from great sparkling wines, to top Pinot Noir, to dry and crisp Riesling, to unctuous dessert wines capable of ageing for decades.
This is also a terrific opportunity to meet some of the winemakers. We are delighted to say that Nik Weis from Sankt Urbans-Hof of the Mosel and Helmut Solter sparkling wine specialist from the Rheingau will be on hand to pour their own wines, and answer any questions you may have.
