Caribbean Scene / Excel in the Arts Picnic

A celebration of Caribbean cuisine and culture

Come down and enjoy the sunshine at our Caribbean themed picnic down by the riverside, all organised by restaurant: Caribbean Scene.

Entertainment on the day includes: the Newham Youth Steel Band, street dancing by Boy Blue Entertainment, VJing, chamber music by the Newham Academy of Music and a fashion show by UK Urban Fashion Awarded Customisers of The Year
Winners; the Ugly Kids Club.

Face painting and a bouncy castle will keep the kids occupied while older visitors can join in on the martial arts and learn some new moves for carnival at the soca dancing demonstrations or pick up a few bargains from the arts and crafts market.

The Caribbean Scene Food village will feature delicious snacks and eateries such as: a jerk pan drum, family BBQ, tropical smoothies, aromatic rums and fruits.
