Acoustic music night with Then Jerico

The greatly talented lead singer and songwriter Mark Shaw and his dynamic crew will play two sets at 7.30 pm and 9.00 pm on Friday the 25th September 2009. As well as playing their own hits, Then Jerico will play covers from some of the greatest rock and roll bands, including Led Zeppelin, David Bowie and The Rolling Stones.

Then Jerico had two multi platinum albums; first the “Sound of Music” released in 1987 and second “Big Area” released in 1989. They have received huge success across America and Europe, with number 1 singles across 15 countries, and a European Arena tour in 1989.

Most recently Shaw has turned his attention to charity causes; the new Then Jerico line-up has been touring for the UN peace-keeping forces around Eastern Europe, including Kosovo, Bosnia, Turkey and Northern Ireland.

Their music is a melodic mix of soul and rock and has been influenced by David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Clash, Joy Division, John Lee Hooker, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Iggy Pop.
