Hammersmith Summer Festival

HammersmithLondon are proud to announce the launch of their new Summer programme of events, which is set to be fun, interactive and entertaining for all.

The Urban Beach in Lyric Square features an artificial beach complete with traditional seaside deckchairs, ice cream gazebos and traditional farmers market.

Throughout the months of June, July and August, local residents can take advantage of the newly revamped Hammersmith themed deck chairs and enjoy a host of entertainment ranging from musical performances, circus acts, and live street performers.

The concept underpinning the Urban Beach is simple. We want the space surround Lyric Square to be a thriving and vibrant space for residents, visitors and local businesses. This is a perfect way to showcase our beautiful area and remind visitors that West London is a centre for creativity and enterprise.”

Other activities taking place in the Hammersmith Summer festival include an outdoor library in St Pauls Green, featuring children’s storytelling sessions, a number of classic board games and a relaxing reading area. Alongside this, in July, HammersmithLondon will also be launching an art exhibition at the Lyric, Hammersmith , which will feature local artwork together with weekly music nights at the popular HammersmithLondon Roof Garden..
