A Burst of Song

Chelsea’s Cadogan Hall will again play host to the Pink Singers, following the success of our first concert in this fabulous venue in the summer. Saturday 8 January 2011 is the date for our New Year concert, ‘A Burst of Song’. It starts at 7.30 pm.

You’ll be able to soak in a range of styles and moods, from Gabriel Fauré’s beautiful Cantique de Jean Racine to Billy Joel’s ballad And so it goes – taking in along the way Send in the Clowns, Like prayer, I got rhythm, With a lily in your hands and many other classic favourites. We also give a warm welcome to our guests, the Manchester Lesbian and Gay Chorus.

This is the first concert led by our new Musical Director, Murray Hipkin of English National Opera (ENO).

The Pink Singers are Europe’s longest-established LGBT community choir.
