Sheela Gowda: Therein & Besides

Bangalore based artist Sheela Gowda presents her first UK solo exhibition. Gowda's large scale installations investigate the physical qualities and the source of the materials she uses.

A dynamic new commission of colourfully painted wooden structures and ritual objects is shown alongside an earlier work made of burned incense ash, manipulated into intricate patterns.

The artist will be in conversation with Curator Grant Watson on Thurs 20 January, 6:30pm and there is a free exhibition tour on 10 February at 6:30pm.
