Walk 10, London

The nationwide Walk 10 event is an opportunity to enjoy a lovely part of South London whilst taking in a summers evening with friends and family and raising money for Marie Curie. It is a 10k walk in London which returns to the start point where you will see a host of entertainment from stilt walkers to acrobats. The evening’s entertainment along with your picnic will be finished off with an address to the crowd by a Marie Curie nurse marking the start time of an evening shift. There is also the opportunity to decorate memory lanterns prior to the walk; these are then lit for the 10pm ceremony where there is a minutes silence to mark the end of the event. An all round event suitable for old and young.
