Solo exhibition for artist Annemarie Wright.

Annemarie is a British artist, specialising in text based works.

She is best known for her controversial portrait of Tony Blair, created using the handwritten names of fallen soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan.

The exhibition will feature a whole new range of work from Wright, including a piece to honour the Forthcoming

Royal Wedding, featuring the text ’to commemorate the Marriage of Prince William of Wales and Miss Catherine Middleton, 29th April 2011’.

New works exhibited will also include Aung San Suu Kyi (using her ’freedom’ address), the late Alexandra McQueen (using his obituary), Mary Portas ’Queen of shops’ (extracts from her Shop! column) and a magnificent London cityscape (outlaying a detailed history of the Capital City).
