Local artist Terry Scales has lived near the Thames for most of his life and at the age of 13 in 1946 he created his first river painting. This exhibition showcases a collection of his works, which record the life of the River Thames, from the changing landscape of the great dockyards to the historic sailing ships visiting the contemporary city.
Meet the artist for book signing at 11.00 – 15.00 on Saturday 7 and 21 May in the temporary exhibitions gallery.
