Garden Museum to bring over twenty of the country’s leading specialist nurseries together for one day only
London’s Garden Museum will create a unique shopping opportunity this spring as it hosts its annual Spring Plant and Gardens Fair. On Sunday the 8th May over twenty of the country’s leading specialist nurseries will descend upon Central London and fill the Museum with a superb range of show quality plants. Why travel out of the city to stock up for your garden, balcony or window-box when the plant specialists will come to you…
This year’s Fair is better than ever with the largest number of exhibitors taking part. Visitors will be able to browse for rare and unusual plants as well as traditional favourites like clematis and irises. There will be an opportunity to buy for the productive garden with heritage and heirloom vegetable seeds, herbs and fruit plants on sale too.
Exhibitors include John Hyland’s Pioneer Nurseries, founded by the Letchworth Pioneers more than a century ago; Old Slade Nurseries, whose hemerocallis were saved from the developers last year; Dyson’s Nurseries, who specialise in salvias and Box specialists River Garden Nursery.
Once the shopping is done visitors can enjoy lunch in the Museum’s Garden Café which serves fresh vegetarian cuisine and home-baked cakes.
