This course runs over seven bite size and affordable one day workshops which aim to focus in on various aspects of the creative process.

Delivered by industry expert and tutor Will Wright, the workshops are designed to work as either a seven week progressive course or stand-alone classes. Suitable for enthusiasts or students who may wish to supplement their learning. However for beginners we recommend you attend the ‘Filmmaking Overview ‘workshop first.


All courses take place in a Shoreditch training location.


Workshop 1: - Filmmaking Overview

An introduction to the filmmaking process from script to screen.

Workshop 2: - Focus on Scriptwriting
Date: Sunday 18th September Duration: 1 day Cost: £60 + VAT

Learn the principles of narrative structure, characters and plot and how to format your scripts in CeltX software.

Workshop 3: - Focus on Producing
Date: Sunday 25th September Duration: 1 day Cost: £60 + VAT

Discover what it takes to make a film from a logistical point of view.

Workshop 4: - Focus on Directing
Date: Sunday 2nd October Duration: 1 day Cost: £60 + VAT

Learn and develop your directing skills by investigating the role from script to screen.

Workshop 5: - Focus on Cinematography
Date: Sunday 9th October Duration: 1 day Cost: £70 + VAT

Make the best use your camera to get great shots and broaden your style plus learn the fundamentals of lighting.

Workshop 6: - Focus on Production Design
Date: Sunday 16th October Duration: 1 day Cost: £60 + VAT

Covering pre-production activities, set dressing and stand by, and designed to improve your aesthetic eye and resourcefulness.

Workshop 7: - Focus on Editing
Date: Sunday 23rd October Duration: 1 day Cost: £75 + VAT

This day will take you through why editing is 'sculpting in time and space’ and you will use an industry standard editing package.
