Red Bull Music Academy is proud to announce the return of the legendary Notting Hill Carnival Party under the Westway on Monday 29th August. Once again, genre-smashing selectors Diplo and Switch, with their Major Lazer Soundsystem, will be at the helm, bringing a roster of cutting edge guests to tear up the all-day party. And, following on from surprise appearances from MIA, Santigold and Lee Scratch Perry in previous years, Red Bull Music Academy will be bringing yet more unannounced acts to the line-up on the day.

Major Lazer Soundsystem - aka Diplo and Switch, will once more weave the perfect soundtrack to Europe's biggest street party, filling out the dancehall vibe with more experimental and adventurous sounds. This year's line-up also includes the legendary Jamaican sound system from Miami; Black Chiney, plus front runner of the Moombahton movement, Dillon Francis playing back-to-back with Brodinski (one of the most exciting DJ's to explode in recent years), Oneman playing back-to-back with DJ Mag's Best Breakthrough DJ Jackmaster (featuring a guest appearance from female vocalist of the moment, Jessie Ware), Lunice, Kito plus the aforementioned very secret, very special guests.

Becoming as essential an ingredient to August Bank Holiday shenanigans as jerk chicken and parade floats, August will be the fourth annual Red Bull Music Academy event at Carnival. Reading like a who's who of bass music from the past half decade, previous guests have included the likes of David Rodigan, J-Wow, Rusko, Toddla T, Sinden, Drop the Lime, Joker and Sticky to name but a few.

Fans can pick up on the action after the event, whether there or not, with sets being available to stream via Red Bull Music Academy Radio. To get into the mood, check out Major Lazer's set from 2010 now - http://redbullmusicacademyradio.com/shows/3155/. Alongside the bass-driven speaker assault, the party will feature art showcases by the infamous Mutoid Waste Company and white-hot music video director Ferry Gouw as well as live t-shirt printing by Hit and Run.

Tickets for this event will be available for FREE exclusively via www.redbull.co.uk/carnival released at 10am on 11 August. Tickets are available on a strictly first come first served basis, these tickets WILL be snapped up quickly.
