Rugby World Cup at Jetlag Sports Bar

The 2011 Rugby World Cup is here and with it being played in New Zealand (12 hours difference!) all true rugby fans will be making the effort to see the top live games. We are showing the crunch matches with replays throughout the day, and we have 24 hour licenses for all the finals matches. The hardcore armchair fans with guaranteed seating can bring sleeping bags and make a night of it. We'll have refresher kits as well as fantastic breakfasts to get you ready and awake for the games.

As well as all night licenses for the finals we are opening early for the big qualifying games. With England meeting Argentina, Ireland facing Australia, and the All Blacks taking on their perennial World Cup foes France, there is plenty to play for in the early stages of the tournament.

In the bread basket we have international breakfasts along with great dishes from the participating countries including: Bunny Chow from South Africa; Choripán from Argentina; Jambalaya from USA and the iconic Kiwi Burger from New Zealand.

The bar team have dreamed up hair-of-the-dog concoctions, and alongside Bloody Mary's you can sip on Fiji's Mutiny on the Bounty, Russia's Boris' Breakfast and Australia's Thousand Miles From Care. You'll be assured of a truly international experience for this year's World Cup. Beer lovers will also not be disappointed with Japan's Asahi and Ireland's Guinness on draft, Whitstable Bay from Kent (with hops from New Zealand!), and the superb Western Australian Pale Ale Little Creatures proving ever popular. You'll also find ciders including Aspall's from Suffolk, Monteith's Crushed Apple from New Zealand and Savannah Dry from South Africa.
