PNAU

“Mindbogglingly brilliant” – Popjustice

This autumn, the elusive Australian pop duo of Nick Littlemore and Peter Mayes – better known as Pnau – will finally step out of the shadows to play a rare live show in the UK, their biggest to date in fact, at the Scala.

In this very special, one-off live performance, they will be showcasing brand new tracks from their four years in the making forthcoming LP, “Soft Universe”, to be released next spring. Indeed, after a few years concentrating on the unexpected success of their side-project Empire of the Sun (which saw Littlemore and Mayes joined by Luke Steele), the pair have crafted an album quite unlike any other, an explosion of turbo-charged, rapturous pop music, contrasting downcast songs about love gone wrong with an infectious sense of festival friendly, hands in the lasers singalong euphoria, as exemplified by the upcoming single “Solid Ground (Too Much Worth Living For”, released on October 2. This promises to be an absolutely unmissable show, make sure to catch them while you still can.
