Othello De’Souza-Hartley is visual artist working in London after studying at Central St Martins and Camberwell School of Art. Othello has had commissions and projects from The National Portrait Gallery, The Photographer’s Gallery, The Camden Arts Centre and The Victoria and Albert Museum, Platform for Art and The National Trust. He has completed a recent commission from the Photographers Gallery that will be shown alongside the Olympics in 2012.

Othello has been working on a project for the last two years that explores contemporary masculinity through photography and video. The project has three phases; torsos of men; film and finally self-portrait.
