What is jewellery without a body? Can art have a function? Do all objects tell a story?
Dialogue 11 responds to these questions and more. The result is a new collection of pieces that are enquiring, beautiful, funny and ugly.
The Dialogue Collective is a group of artists with a background in jewellery and silversmithing who regularly meet to: discuss; examine; stir up and question the relationship between art and craft. The Dialogue Collective have shown both nationally and internationally at selected venues including: a route master bus; a casting foundry and on the steps of the V&A.
The work, that is not jewellery at all, will be showcased at Lo and Behold where you are invited to view and join in the debate.
