More and more parents are turning to extracurricular education to ensure that their children get the level of education they need to build a stable future. Due to the current job markets being so competitive education centres like Explore Learning are becoming increasingly in demand. Explore Learning are now opening a new centre in New Barnet on the 10thNovember to cater for the influx.

Explore Learning is a network of tuition centres across the UK that provides English and maths tuition for children between the ages of 5 to 14 years. What makes them unique is the learning style and environment that they offer kids. The children that attend their centres see them as a fun after school activity that they enjoy and look forward to attending. Explore Learning offer tuition programmes that are tailored to each child depending on their learning ability so they can develop at their own comfortable pace. The Explore Learning programmes introduce a fun way for children to apply themselves in an academic way and no two programmes are the same so there is no competition between children. Explore Learning aim to help children build their confidence in Literacy and Numeracy and work closely alongside local schools and communities by providing free regular tuition workshops.

Explore Learning also organise two annual National competitions which gives children something to work towards and helps encourage them to learn. These include the National Young Writers’ Award and The National Young Mathematicians’ Award which are organised through the local primary schools who enter representatives. The National Young Writers’ Award gives children the chance to pick up a pen, pencil or crayon and write a story in 500 words based on a particular theme which is announced before the event. The National Young Mathematician Award is about finding the Nation’s promising future mathematicians. The entrants solve challenging mathematical problems in group of 4 pupils per school.

Carey Ann Dodah Head of Content Development at Explore Learning said that parents usually turn to them to help strengthen their child’s learning abilities in English and maths and improve confidence and concentration levels. “The children that come to us enjoy learning in our centres and it is important to us and their development that they get enjoyment from learning,” comments Carey.
