Larry and George Lamb to switch on the Angel Christmas Lights

To get you in the festive mood, much loved local celebrity and TV actor, Larry Lamb and TV presenter son, George Lamb will be switching on the Angel Christmas lights at the N1 Shopping Centre on Saturday 26th November at 5pm. The surrounding areas of Camden Passage and Islington Green will also be lit by the co-ordinated Angel Christmas light switch on.

To celebrate the event, N1 Shoppers and visitors to the centre will be offered the chance to purchase raffle tickets to win a luxury Christmas hamper full of fabulous treats from N1 retailers. Tickets will be on sale during the afternoon prior to the free N1 Shopping Centre light switch on, with money raised from the purchase of these tickets being donated to a local charity. The winning raffle ticket will be selected at random by Larry Lamb and announced at the Christmas light switch on. The winner will receive a fantastic N1 Christmas hamper full of treats from participating retailers, including; wine from Glassworks, cookbook and vouchers from Wagamama, a voucher from Sainsburys, DVDs from HMV, a pamper pack from L’Occitane, Christmas crackers from Paperchase and mince pies from Waitrose.

Lynne Glover, the N1 Centre Manager says: “We are thrilled to be turning on the Angel Christmas lights from the N1 Shopping Centre this year. The Christmas lights really do add a little bit of magic to the festive shopping experience and is the perfect way to kick-start a series of festive activities taking place over the coming weeks.”
