'Like a photographic Frankenstein, the science of the camera allows for the series of images to be given life.'
In That Sweet Mood Where Pleasant Thoughts Bring Sad Thoughts To The Mind examines the relationship between still and moving image through
the traditional medium of the Zeotrope, or 'wheel of lie'. Exploring the preoccupation with animation in our modern world these ghostly images are boldly reminiscent of classic horror movies such as Nosferatu. By choreographing a series of dances similar to the work of legendary Isadora Duncan, the artist takes us on a sentimental journey into the past.
