You Loyal Subjects - a tour in the National Potrait Gallery

Join Blue Badge Guide Rachel Kolsky at the National Portrait Gallery where you will discover members of Anglo-Jewry chosen to be representative of British industry, politics, finance and culture. Their stories and those of the artists are also the journey of the development of the Jewish community in the UK. See history come alive through these stunning pieces of art.

Some of the artists we will be visiting include: Jacob Epstein, Oscar Nemon, Mark Gertler, Lucian Freud and Hans Schwartz. Sitters include: Benjamin Disraeli, Lord Rothschild, Nikolaus Pevsner, Ludwig and Robert Mond, David Ricardo and Siegmund Warburg.

We will be staying after the tour to have a drink and a nibble so don’t rush off!
