An evening of true stories related by people in mixed faith relationships.

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, come to our evening of True Tales at Moishe House. Grab a glass of wine and some nibbles and listen as great raconteurs regale you with stories from the battlefront. Enjoy hearing about the minefields and minor miracles that are part of the territory of mixed-faith relationships.

There will be a generous serving of story tellers, including Zahavit Shalev, a shouty north-west London Jew who married into a family of meditative, pacifist Quakers 10 years and three children ago; Joel Stanley, who founded MoHoLo four years ago and has onlu just managed to move out, he’s delighted to co-host Mixed Blessings as it’s a subject close to his own heart; and Clive Lawton, a founding member of the JCC for London and scholar-in-residence at the LJCC. He’s thought long and hard about in-marriage, out-marriage and inter-marriage and has officiated at a number of inter-faith weddings.

This promises to be a relaxed and intimate evening in a welcoming environment. There will be a chance for open discussions and questions at the end of the evening.
