Wimbledon Wine Cellars is proud to announce that the well-known wine expert Matthew Jukes will be coming to visit our flagship store in Imperial Wharf on 8th March for a very special tasting. This promises to be a wonderful evening for Australian wine lovers with an opportunity to taste 30 of Australia's greatest wines, including sparkling wines from Tasmania, Semillons from the Hunter Valley, and a full panoply of sensational reds. Matthew Jukes is recognised as one of the world’s leading experts on Australian wine and compiles his "100 Best Australian Wines" list each year. This is a rare opportunity to sample so many exceptional wines, with a world-renowned expert.

A bit about Matthew...
Matthew is a journalist, author, wine buyer, lecturer and wine judge. He has been the wine correspondent for the Daily Mail since 1999 and he also writes a weekly column for MoneyWeek, a monthly column for The Week and occasional features for Decanter Magazine. He is responsible for the wine lists at several top London restaurants including Bibendum Restaurant, Smiths of Smithfield, Chutney Mary, Amaya and Veeraswamy as well as the private wine club Quintessentially Wine worldwide.’ Matthew was also recently awarded the accolade of ‘Honorary Australian of the Year in the UK’ for his dedication and support of the Australian wine industry.
