A new version of Hamley, devised by the company.

As the country burns, four young people hide in an abandoned church and wait.

Hamlet, Horatio, Ophelia and Laertes eat tinned food, bicker and pray, each trying to find their way through the crisis they are in.

But supplies are running out and more than static is coming through on the radio . . .

Perfect Shadow Mingled Yarn offers a contemporary response to the story of Hamlet, asking what it means to be young, angry and paralysed in a time of crisis.

Savage and funny, Laughing Boy faces bedlam with existentialism, gallows humour and spaghetti hoops.

This powerful site-specific production has been created for the intimate historic Chapel in Oxford House, a community and arts centre in Bethnal Green, East London.
