Walking Tour: Artists At Home - The Holland Park Circle

A walking tour of the internationally important group of artists’ studio-houses that made up the ‘Holland Park Circle’.
During the second half of the nineteenth century, artists including Val Prinsep, Luke Fildes and Marcus Stone commissioned grand studio-houses from some of the leading architects of the day. The tour takes in the exteriors of the surviving houses in Holland Park Road and Melbury Road and tells the fascinating story of their creation and the lives of the artists who lived in them.
