Try It! Birkbeck in your commUNIty
Although cell multiplication is essential for renewal and regeneration throughout our bodies, if cells multiply out of control – as occurs in cancers – our health is threatened. Carolyn will talk about the strategies taken by biomedical scientists, including her research team, in cancer research and lead a discussion of this topic.
To celebrate Adult Learners’ Week 12th -18th May, Birkbeck are hosting a series of free information, advice & guidance sessions together with debates, performances, workshops and lectures at Cambridge House in Camberwell. Come for the whole day or just drop in.
