For the first time, one of the most famous boats on the River Thames will be moored and open as a floating pop-up bar and restaurant at Butler’s Wharf Pier on bank holiday Monday.

The Dixie Queen, London’s largest private charter vessel and replica Mississippi paddle steamer, will be open to the public offering people fantastic views of Tower Bridge and the Thames skyline from her decks whilst they enjoy a drink and some food.

A unique, temporary and stylish venue for drinks (including Pimms, cocktails, beers, a wide selection of wines and soft drinks) as well as light snacks or a meal served by award winning event caterers, Moving Venue.

After a stunning $10 million conversion into a luxurious replica of a 19th century Mississippi paddle steamer, until recently the Dixie Queen was Stockholm's favourite cruising Night Club, and the haunt of the younger members of the Royal Family. She is now owned by Thames Luxury Charters who’s fleet of unique boats are regular fixtures on the River.
