The innovative artwork of 16 cross-generational British artists will be showcased at the Glenfiddich ‘>>ForwardThinking’ art exhibition on Friday (25th May). Hosted by Glenfiddich Global Brand Ambassador Ian Millar, the ‘ for one night only’ show will exhibit thought-provoking works of art that explore the meaning of the word “pioneer” by some of London’s most ground-breaking creatives.

The exhibition has been curated by Tim Ellis, a former contributor to the Glenfiddich ‘Artists in Residence’ programme; an initiative that is set to enter its 11th year having hosted 76 artists from 16 countries during its existence. Jack Newling, a member of the upcoming 2012 AiR programme, will also be exhibiting his work to illustrate the on-going prominence of this unique scheme.

The exhibition will display a variety of specially created new works using different perspectives and mediums, from canvas paintings to abstract sculptures, before being transported to The Glenfiddich Distillery in Scotland where it will be on display for the whole of June.

Alongside the art, visitors will be able to enjoy a dram of Glenfiddich – the world’s most awarded single malt Scotch whisky, as well as a special whisky nosing and tasting opportunity later in the evening featuring two exclusive Glenfiddich expressions.
