Common Art LONDON-NET Weekender

Common Art is a community based project that grew out of showcasing local artists within a 5-mile radius of Clapham Common. Following our huge success at the Bread and Roses, 68 Clapham Manor Street, London, SW4 we are now throwing the net wider under the sub-heading of LONDON-NET. This event theme is diversity and eclecticism, so we are exhibiting a variety of work. All the work the art and crafts-people exhibit or show reflects or represents London’s diverse community. The Saturday will be dedicated to the gallery upstairs, children’s and adult workshops (including book-binding and recycled instrument making), and live bands in the evening whilst Sunday will focus on performance art, musicians, poets, short dramas. Plus performances from children. Artwork is for sale.

Common Art is a non-profit making organisation that was set up purely to help struggling artists showcase their work and give them a venue to self-promote.
