Gilgamesh Celebrate Its Sixth Birthday!

Next week Gilgamesh is celebrating its sixth birthday with a circus theme, exciting entertainment and the chance for guests to win a round of bubbly. The birthday party will take place on Friday 31st August with guests enjoying a delicious Pan-Asian meal before moving up to Gilgamesh’s Studio nightclub for the exclusive launch of the venue’s new CD.

Over dinner, each guest will roll the Gilgamesh dice* – if they roll a six, the whole table receives a complimentary glass of bubbly to kick start the celebrations! Enjoy the delicious Pan-Asian cuisine that Gilgamesh’s executive chef, Ian Pengelley, has become renowned for. Tempting dishes include Chicken and Foie Gras Dumplings, Rock Shrimp Tempura, Hoba Miso Chilean Seabass, Duck and Watermelon Salad and Hong Kong style Soy Smoked Chicken. If diners still have room, Asian inspired desserts such as Green Tea Banana Cake and Chocolate and Lemongrass Brulee complete the extensive menu.

After dinner, diners will be offered complimentary access to the party upstairs in Gilgamesh’s Studio nightclub, with special entertainment to celebrate the birthday. The Studio will be decorated circus style and the entertainment will kick off with a variety of circus acts, performing throughout the night, as well as talented dancers. With live music from a saxophonist and bongo player, renowned producer Alex P will also be DJ-ing on the evening and playing his exclusive tracks from the new Gilgamesh CD, launching to coincide with the birthday celebrations. The CD, available to purchase at Gilgamesh from 31st August, also includes the best mixes from Sonny J Mason and So Called Scumbags.
