27th September - The final countdown to the pinnacle of the women's football calendar begins when Arsenal Ladies play Birmingham City Ladies in the 2012 FA WSL Continental Cup Final on Wednesday 10th October (7pm KO) at the Underhill Stadium, Barnet FC.

The match promises to be a spectacular finish to a massive year for the women's game and football fans of all ages are urged to come out in force, to see the two best professional women's teams in the country, compete for a chance of silverware.

With a family ticket costing only £15, the Continental Cup Final offers a perfect evening of top class football at an affordable price. In a ‘first’ for football, fans will be able to experience a special in-match show with Radio 1 and 5Live’s Comedy Dave. Fans will receive an earpiece as part of their ticket price (or can pay £2 on the day) to hear Comedy Dave talking with a host of England and FA WSL special guests throughout the match.

In addition, The FA Girls’ Football Festival will be coming to Barnet FC from 3.30pm, with the aim of providing girls of all ages and ability the opportunity to experience football. The FREE event allows girls to sample football through interactive games, FA coaching, the ContiWarmUp programme, as well as the chance to meet the stars of the FA WSL.

Following the success of the 2012 Olympics which saw record breaking crowds, huge TV audiences and positive media coverage, both Arsenal Ladies and Birmingham City Ladies are hoping to continue the momentum and excite football fans in front of a roaring crowd, in the crowning match of the FA WSL season.
