The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) Read for RNIB Day, we will be holding a pop-up literary wonderland in London (18-20 October) and a number of well known children's authors and celebrities will be holding free reading workshops for local school children and visitors. The event is open to everyone and is completely free.

The literary wonderland is also packed with things for children to see, touch, smell and hear, bringing the magic of reading to life.

The actor Michael Sheen OBE has also recorded excerpts from some well known children's books including; Alice in Wonderland, The Hobbit and The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Visitors will be able to listen to these reading by putting their heads under giant mushrooms.

There will also be a bookshop area, and signed books available to buy from Tony Robinson, Julie Andrews, Steve Backshall, Darcey Bussell, David Walliams, Lee Child, Stephen Merchant, Terry Pratchett, Jeffrey Archer, Joanna Trollope, E L James, Gareth Malone, Harry Hill and Henry Winkler aka The Fonz.
