At WWT London Wetland Centre we have a rich variety of birds, amphibians, fish and invertebrates dwelling around, and beneath the surface of, our ponds and lakes.
This talk with amateur naturalist and wildlife photographer Neil Phillips looks in detail at the wildlife found in the ponds and pools of the UK.
From the familiar moorhens and dragonflies to the less well known water scorpions and caddisfly larvae, he’ll be talking about the often ignored wildlife that makes these habitats special.
Find out more about some of the wildlife you can see at London Wetland Centre, as well as some you probably miss, even if you’re a regular visitor!
